Our Team

Kare Chemical Technologies was founded with a deeply personal mission. After a close family member was diagnosed with epilepsy, the founders witnessed the challenges of accessing effective treatments and the major life impact the condition has on patients and their families. This experience led to a deeper understanding of epilepsy as a global health issue which affects over 50 million people worldwide, and the significant unmet need that still exists despite available therapies.

Motivated by this, the founders began exploring new ways to improve how these medicines are developed and produced. Their early work focused on enabling better access to epilepsy treatments, particularly by addressing limitations in manufacturing methods.

As the science progressed, it became clear that the underlying technology had far broader potential. The same platform used to develop epilepsy treatments could apply to a wide range of central nervous system and metabolic conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and obesity; all of which are areas where patients often face limited treatment options and significant side effects.
